Sua pesquisa visual investiga a anatomia sutil da existência, o corpo e as identidades, utilizando cores vibrantes, pinceladas gestuais marcantes e texturas em alto relevo que desafiam a bidimensionalidade da tela. Sua obra funciona como uma força pulsante de conexão humana e ocupação de espaço, tornando-se o substrato ideal para manifestos de inclusão entre o ser humano, o mundo espiritual e a natureza.
Com trajetória técnica e reconhecimento internacional, Gio foi o único artista trans brasileiro selecionado a exposição Herbert Smith Freehills Portrait Award na National Portrait Gallery (Londres, 2026). No circuito cultural, possui exposições em galerias em São Paulo e no Rio de Janeiro.

His work operates as a pulsating force of human connection and spatial reclamation, serving as an ideal medium for manifestos of inclusion between humanity, the spiritual world, and nature.
With a rigorous technical background and international recognition, Gio was the only Brazilian trans artist selected for the Herbert Smith Freehills Portrait Award exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery (London, 2026).
